After the Free Initial Phone Consultation, each client begins with an in-depth Initial Consultation. This is done at your home gym or other suitable location and runs approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Prior to seeing me, you are required to keep an exact dietary journal for at least a 72 hr. period (preferably at least 1 week), documenting everything you eat and drink, what quantities and what time you consumed them.
During the consultation you will fill out a thorough questionnaire that will document:
—your fitness and medical history and current state of health,
—highlight any obstacles we might need to overcome or work around
(such as an injury, illness or medical condition),
—solidly define your health and fitness goals,
—give me insight into your mental state and feelings about yourself, etc.
We will discuss this at length as well as your dietary journal and I will explain what imbalances you might be experiencing and how you can remedy them.
Then I will do a cardiovascular evaluation while showing you the proper way to set up your cardio routine.
Next I put you through an encompassing flexibility assessment to see what areas you need to focus on and to top it off we will go through your first abdominal routine.
Depending on your specific goals, there might be another test or two necessary to perform.
After the session I take the material home and design a full dietary regime for you, as well as initial nutritional supplement recommendations, instructions and explanations.
Minimum Programs are 3 times a week for 60-120 minutes a session. These generally are either full body or half body workouts and are either Strength/Flexibility or Interval in make up. Sometimes we vary between both.
Preferred Programs are 4 times a week for 60-180 minutes a session. By this I mean that this is the better choice for maximal effectiveness because we split your body in half and work each half twice per week. Again this can be structured either as Strength/Flexibility or Interval Training, and sometimes are varied between both.
Intensified Programs are 5-6 times a week for 60-180+ minutes a session. These are normally for people with very specific short-term goals who need very quick results and are willing to put the time in to achieve them or for advanced athletes/trainees who can tolerate and need or want additional intensified training. Examples are upcoming movie role, model shoot, wedding, athletic contest/event, etc. Body Splitting will be somewhat different and will depend on needs. Sessions are again structured according to needs/goals.
Super intensified Programs are 6 times a week for 2-6 hrs+ daily. These are for the individual who wants someone there to push them through all their modalities and to make sure that they not only do what is necessary to achieve their short term goals but get every last bit out of each thing they are doing for their bodies. These generally are a combination of Strength/Resistance Training, Cardio Work, and Yoga Asana/Breathing Exercise/Meditation Routine. These sessions are either a straight block of time or broken up into 2 sessions. They are very customized and these types of programs can include specific food catering as well.
